Cooper's Elijah Chariot of Fire, known to us as 'Lijah, comes from North Carolina; he came to us in December 2013. We feel very fortunate to have 'Lijah as part of our family, and as the sire for our beautiful dams, Opal and Maya.

We chose Elijah from Cooper's Australian Shepherds in North Carolina. He was born October 11, 2013 by dam, Rosemere Cooper Allie Sheedy, a red tri, and his sire, Bayshore Rosemere Smokin' Joe, a blue merle, thus allowing him to throw all colors possible with Australian Shepherds. 'Lijah comes from strong lines with champion pedigrees on both sides.

Elijah is extremely attentive, and will go to great measures to please; he earned his AKC "Canine Good Citizen" with ease. He loves to watch very closely while anyone is cooking - always finding just the right place to watch while being perfectly out of the way. He will happily play with his "Jolly Red Ball" for as long as anyone will throw it with him.

​He is a real sweetheart, especially with those whom he sees as part of his pack family. Like any Aussie, especially an intact male Aussie, he is protective of home and family.
