Maya is our red merle female that we had been waiting for.  We located her in central Michigan in May of 2018. She comes to us from a small private breeder, Kimberly Thomas, who specializes in breeding dogs for temperament.  Maya is our darling of the "pack".  Always ready for time on our laps, or lying at our feet. Her paws are like hands. Always reaching out to hold our arm, or direct our hand to the place she wants to be scratched.

Maya has earned her Good Canine Citizen Certificate and is registered by the American Kennel Club (AKC). She loves water and hiking, having spent many hours in both our canoe, and in our surrounding woods.
